Never Lawful or Chaotic. Inspire Courage/Greatness/Heroics only lasts 3 rounds after ally can no longer hear. Appearance & Marks: Sophia is an attractive but rather primly appointed woman. She has long chestnut hair generally done up in a tight bun, tan skin, dark eyes, and a slight Hispanic-esque accent to go with her complexion and features. She wears spectacles, and generally dresses in a neatly tailored and elegant dress and cloak typical of the upper middle class - think medieval business suit, more or less - one of the few holdovers from her restaurant days other than her talents (plus, at least one person in the company has gotta look presentable, right?). Mannerisms: Sophia is your fairly typical secretary... ever polite, friendly, patient, formal, proper, and diplomatic with bosses, clients, and related persons, but a bit bossy and controlling and slightly more casual to her fellow co-workers in the office itself, at least when it comes to trying to make them behave. She's often torn between being amused and being exasperated by her co-workers. She has to admit that their behavior tends to be more fun than the average stuffy, formal upperclassman, even if it does make maintaining a proper office difficult at times. Places Lived in and Visited: The good old city of Yeu Nork. Spends her days working at the adventuring company with the long name nobody can agree on. Used to work at her family's business. Friends: Her fellow employees, India Sule, Gabriel, Devlyn MacBharain, and the enigmatic Weston Bartels. Biography: Sophia is the daughter of the owners (and founders) of the Yeu Nork gourmet restaurant Casa Ayudant. As she grew up under her parents' tutelage, she took to the management and customer schmoozing aspects of the family business well enough, though she ended up having more of a knack for reading encyclopedias and mixing chemicals than reading cookbooks and mixing souffle ingredients - said knacks aided by the best tutors that overpriced gourmet food can buy, natch. After spending her childhood days helping out with minor tasks at the restaurant, she spent several of her adult years as a receptionist and clerk for her family's business, learning the ins and outs of gathering information and manipulating people, to help keep her parents appraised of what's "new and cool" for the elite and keep customers happy and coming back for more. One day, though, she found out via a want ad that an adventuring company was looking for a secretary/treasurer. She applied for the job, got it... and quickly took some night classes over time in slicing, shooting, and healing things. No word on how her parents feel about the matter (read: open to ideas...) though, considering her younger brother is a much better cook than she was (albeit with less actual business savvy), perhaps it's not entirely a big deal... Nowadays she spends her time trying to keep the adventuring office organized, clean, and well-stocked and the financial records balanced, all of which tend to be fairly futile endeavors. She also works on trying to ensure that their cases are worked on with ample preparation, knowledge, and caution... and patching everyone up again when that invariably fails to happen. Still, there's something to be said for being the classy one in a group of street folk rather than just another face in a sea of bourgeois and gentry. She also finds it makes it easier to keep one close eye on Gabriel, whom she once caught trying to swindle her family's business, in the hopes of reforming him... or, at the very least, ensuring he uses his conman tendencies for semi-legal purposes instead of illegal ones.
